The draw for the group stage of this season's Champions League has just taken place in Monaco and Barça have been drawn in Group F and will play Inter Milan, Dinamo Kiev and Russian champions Rubin Kazan. At first glance it does not look as easy as some of the other groups and we will have two difficult trips to eastern Europe as well as the obvious difficulty of the games with Inter.
The matches with Inter Milan will be the most eagerly awaited with numerous players coming up against their ex-team. Barça, of course, have just signed Ibrahimovic and Maxwell from the Italians while Samuel Eto'o will have an early return to Camp Nou where he will no doubt feel he has a point to prove. Jose Mourinho and Thiago Motta will also have the chance to get one over on their previous employers. The game really should be a cracker.
Dinamo Kiev should not prove to be too difficult but no doubt it will be cold whenever it is that we have to visit Kiev. Last Season Dinamo were knocked out in the group stage by Porto and Arsenal. The Russian team Rubin Kazan are new to the Champions League but as Russian champions they will be no pushover.
